Witbe (Euronext Growth – FR0013143872 – ALWIT), the leader in Quality of Experience Monitoring, announces the launch of its new cloud monitoring platform on real test devices deployed globally, enabling its customers to measure the Quality of Experience of all their digital services (video, voice, Internet) on real devices (set-top box, smartphone, PC, tablet, OTT box, etc.), through real operator’s network accesses (fiber, cable, 3G/4G, satellite, etc.), in more than 150 locations around the world.
Since its origin, Witbe relies on a non-intrusive technology, based on robots measuring the quality truly delivered. The Witbe robots are placed at the edge of distribution, and connected to test devices, identical to those used by real users. The robots measure the Quality of Experience actually delivered to the end-users by providing KPIs on the availability, performance and integrity of the service. Thousands of Witbe robots are already deployed on customers’ own infrastructures.
Two years after the launch of Galilei, Witbe’s reference network for OTT (over-the-top) video stream monitoring in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) mode, Witbe is expanding its Cloud offering by allowing operators and broadcasters to benefit from Witbe robots already deployed in the Cloud, outside of their infrastructures. This decreases costs and deployment time, allowing them to focus on improving the quality of their services.
“Several world-renowned operators and broadcasters are already using Witbe Cloud to measure the quality of their video services, with robots in the Cloud”, explains Marie-Véronique Lacaze, co-founder and President of Witbe. “Reducing the cost and deployment time of our technologies is one of our priorities, in order to enable the largest number of companies to improve the Quality of Experience of their digital services, and answer the more and more frequent requests, to benefit from our technologies in full cloud mode.“
